Millie Mackintosh, 37, has shared that she feels more confident and attractive now than she did a decade ago, attributing this shift to embracing sobriety and building a new life following her divorce from Hugo Taylor.
Taking to Instagram, the former Made In Chelsea star posted a series of images accompanied by reflections on qualities she finds "kinda chic." "Kinda chic to feel hotter at 37 than 27," she wrote, showcasing her physique in a bikini. Another post highlighted her decision to become sober, stating, "Kinda chic to be sober."
Mackintosh revealed she made the decision to go sober four years ago after noticing that alcohol often made her an "angry" and "nasty" drunk. She has not looked back since, finding it a positive change.
The reality personality has also been open about her mental health journey, expressing pride in discussing her struggles and acknowledging that she continues to attend therapy and experiences "bad days."
A New Beginning
Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor officially filed for divorce in early February after seven years of marriage. The couple share two daughters, Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four. Despite the separation, the pair are reportedly seeking a "clean break" while co-parenting their children.
Prior to their split, Mackintosh and Taylor had spent months renovating their family home. Last month, Mackintosh shared an emotional moment as she moved into a new residence, admitting she had been unsure if she would be able to cope after the end of her marriage. She posted a clip to Instagram from the entrance of her new home, writing, "Six months ago you didn't know you'd be OK. Today you got the keys to your new home."
Referencing this milestone, she added, "Kinda chic to build a whole new life at 37 and actually be proud of it." In June, she shared glimpses of her new beginning after leaving the property she had shared with her estranged husband, posting a picture of her new living space and writing, "Next chapter incoming... excited to make a new place my home."
Mackintosh also spoke about balancing work with her role as a mother, noting that she sometimes feels guilty when she is not working but reminds herself of the brevity of childhood. She also shared insights into her self-care routine, which includes spending time with her pet pug, Luna, and utilizing red light therapy.
