Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor Break Silence on Marriage Split

Millie Mackintosh shared a cryptic Instagram post referencing 'bitter hearts' on Wednesday, hours after her ex-husband, Hugo Taylor, publicly addressed their marriage split. The former "Made In Chelsea" stars, who officially divorced in February after seven years of marriage, are navigating the separation while co-parenting their two young daughters, Sienna and Aurelia.

Taylor, 40, admitted that the past year had brought "considerable sadness" but expressed gratitude for his daughters and a commitment to providing them with stability. "My responsibility is to be the best father I can be, continuing to give them the love, security and consistency they deserve," he stated in a message posted on his social media.

He added that he had refrained from public comment out of respect for his family's privacy. Taylor indicated he is looking to the future "with faith and optimism" while acknowledging a "period of significant change."

In the wake of Taylor's statement, Mackintosh, 37, shared a quote on her Instagram story that read, "I believe the most beautiful people are those who never let huge challenges turn their hearts bitter. They learned, made adjustments, created healthy boundaries, let go of the pain, and kept walking forward with kindness and gratitude."

Taylor also recently shared a quote from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Fellowship of the Ring," which subtly reverses the proverb "All that glitters is not gold."

Mackintosh has reportedly moved on with new boyfriend Matthew Tanner, 38. The pair were first photographed together in late October and Mackintosh recently made their relationship Instagram official. Tanner works as a Global Solutions Director and Programme Director at Robert Walters Consultancy and is also an endurance athlete.

The couple's daughters are now splitting their time between their parents' separate homes. Mackintosh and Taylor's relationship began on the reality show "Made In Chelsea" in 2011, with their initial romance marked by infidelity and a public fallout. They later reconciled in 2016, married, and welcomed their two children.

This is not Mackintosh's first divorce; she was previously married to rapper Professor Green, Stephen Manderson, divorcing in 2016. She has previously described that marriage as "toxic."
