Milania Giudice, daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, has enrolled in anger management classes following her domestic violence arrest. The 20-year-old appeared virtually in Montville Township Municipal Court on Tuesday, where her attorney, Alan Kraminsky, informed the judge that a prosecutor had requested a postponement of the hearing to allow Giudice to complete the course.
The judge granted a new court date of September 29, noting that the state also needs to review discovery and speak with officers involved in the case.
During her arraignment last month, a judge alleged that Giudice "did knowingly cause bodily injury to another, specifically by striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing redness to the middle of the victim’s forehead, during a domestic dispute in violation of … a disorderly person’s offense." At the time, the judge advised Giudice that a guilty verdict could result in up to six months in jail, probation, and fines exceeding $500.
Giudice was arrested on May 14 at the New Jersey home of her mother and stepfather, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. According to the Montville Township Police Department arrest report, she was reportedly "throwing food [and] candles" during the domestic dispute. No weapons were involved in the incident. Her sister, Gabriella Giudice, identified as the reporting party, called 911 shortly before 6:15 p.m., stating her sister was "acting erratically."
Police dashcam footage obtained by Page Six showed officers placing a handcuffed Giudice into a patrol car. In the footage, she appeared to scoff and laugh as an officer secured her seatbelt. Giudice remained quiet during the ride to police headquarters, where she was booked on one count of simple assault and released pending her court appearance.
Giudice has pleaded not guilty to the charges. She previously addressed the arrest in a TikTok video on June 29, calling a circulating mugshot of her an "AI" creation. She stated that "s–t happens in life" and that individuals must "learn from it and just become a better person." Giudice explained that she was "not in a good area in [her] life" at the time of the incident, suggesting she had "been through a lot." She asserted that followers do not "really know" everything she has experienced.
Teresa Giudice shares four daughters—Milania, Gabriella, Gia, and Audriana—with her ex-husband Joe Giudice, from whom she divorced in September 2020. Teresa married Ruelas in August 2022.
