Newly released police dashcam footage captures Milania Giudice appearing to laugh while being placed in the back of a police car following her May 14 arrest for domestic violence. The video, obtained by Page Six from the Montville Police Department, shows officers handcuffing Giudice and securing her in the vehicle.
Giudice, 20, was charged with one count of simple assault and has pleaded not guilty. According to the police report, the daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice was involved in a domestic dispute at her mother and stepfather's New Jersey home, during which she allegedly was "throwing food [and] candles."
During her July 14 arraignment, a judge stated that Milania "did knowingly cause bodily injury to another, specifically by striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing redness to the middle of the victim’s forehead, during a domestic dispute in violation of… a disorderly person’s offense." The "reporting party" for the 911 call was identified as Gabriella Giudice, Milania's sister, who told police her sister was "acting erratically."
The police report indicated that no weapons were involved and no injuries were initially reported beyond the redness to the victim's forehead. Milania was booked at the Montville Township Police Department and released pending her next court appearance.
Milania faces a potential sentence of up to six months in jail, probation, and fines exceeding $500 if found guilty. A hearing is scheduled for August.
While she has not directly addressed the dashcam footage or the details of the police report, Giudice spoke about her arrest in a June 29 TikTok video. She dismissed an allegedly AI-generated mugshot circulating online, stating, "I ate down in my mugshot. I looked fire. I mean, nothing to be proud of, but I made sure of that." She acknowledged that "shit happens in life" and emphasized the need to learn from experiences. Giudice also mentioned she was "not in a good area in [her] life" at the time of the incident and that she had "been through a lot in life."
Teresa Giudice shares Milania and her three sisters—Gia, 25, Gabriella, 21, and Audriana, 16—with her ex-husband Joe Giudice. She married Luis "Louie" Ruelas in August 2022. Ruelas has two sons from a previous marriage.
