New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and his wife, Jen, attended the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, according to reports. The couple's appearance at the midtown Manhattan ceremony on Friday marked their first time being seen together publicly since allegations of an affair involving Vrabel and reporter Dianna Russini emerged.

Vrabel, 50, was seen wearing a black suit, while Jen, his college sweetheart, wore an aqua blue chiffon gown. The couple entered a chauffeured SUV, with hotel staff assisting with the doors.

The controversy began in March when The New York Post published photos suggesting Vrabel and Russini were together at an adults-only resort in Arizona. Russini, who has denied any wrongdoing, was later placed on leave at The Athletic before resigning. The New York Times is the parent company of The Athletic.

Further reports from The New York Post in April showed Vrabel and Russini allegedly kissing at a Manhattan bar in March 2020. Russini married Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt in September 2020 and has two sons.

The Daily Mail also published photos of Vrabel and a pregnant Russini on a boat in Tennessee in 2021, when Vrabel coached the Titans and Russini reported on the team for ESPN.

Vrabel addressed the allegations before the NFL Draft in April, stating that he had caused a "distraction to the people that I care most about, my family, this football team, the organization and our fans." He subsequently missed the third day of the draft to attend a family counseling session.

Vrabel's connection to Travis Kelce outside of the NFL is not immediately clear. Vrabel retired as a player in 2010, prior to Kelce joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. Vrabel has since coached against Kelce as both the Patriots head coach and during a previous tenure with the Tennessee Titans.
