Mike Tyson Delivered Letter From Diddy to Trump While Rapper Was Imprisoned
The former boxer revealed in a radio appearance that he fulfilled a request from Sean 'Diddy' Combs to deliver a letter to then-President Donald Trump.
Boxing legend Mike Tyson stated in a recent interview that he delivered a letter from Sean 'Diddy' Combs to President Donald Trump while Combs was incarcerated. Tyson made the claim during an appearance on the SiriusXM radio show 'Andy Cohen Live.'
Tyson, who described himself as a friend of Combs, said he was asked by the disgraced music mogul to deliver the message to the president. "I did what he told me to do, yeah," Tyson confirmed when asked by host Andy Cohen if he had given a letter to the president from Combs.
President Trump confirmed in January of an unspecified year that he had received a letter from Combs seeking a pardon. At the time, Trump stated that he would not grant the request, though he did not disclose how the letter reached him.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The conviction was based on the 1910 Mann Act, a federal law that prohibits the transport of individuals for purposes of prostitution or other immoral activities across state or national borders. Combs was acquitted of racketeering and trafficking charges but found guilty by a jury on the Mann Act-related counts.
Combs has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct and is appealing his conviction. He is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and faces numerous civil lawsuits.
In an August 2025 interview, Trump commented on Combs' conviction, stating, "I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great." He added, "I didn't know him well, but when I ran for office he was very hostile."
