Midair Brawl Erupts on London-Bound Flight

A physical altercation broke out between two passengers on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight traveling from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London on September 16, leading to screams and commotion among other travelers.

Dramatic video footage of the incident shows men exchanging blows in the aisle, with one passenger's T-shirt appearing to be torn. Other passengers, including men and women, were seen jumping from their seats and attempting to intervene in the fight. Crew members eventually stepped in to de-escalate the situation.

The cause of the argument that preceded the physical confrontation is unknown, according to reports. The flight was carrying a diverse group of passengers, including children and elderly individuals.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirmed the incident, stating that the cabin crew intervened and resolved the conflict between the passengers. The airline did not immediately respond to requests for further comment.

Authorities at Heathrow Airport were contacted regarding whether any arrests were made or further action was taken, but no immediate information was available. This incident adds to a recent trend of disruptive passenger behavior on commercial flights. Previously, an easyJet flight from Tenerife to Liverpool had to return to the airport due to a brawl involving multiple passengers shortly after takeoff. In another instance, an American Airlines passenger was apprehended for allegedly injuring a flight attendant and attempting to open a cabin door mid-flight.
