The Michigan Wolverines will host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, September 12, in a highly anticipated Week 2 college football matchup at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. The game is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. ET.
The Wolverines are looking to rebound after a close 13-12 victory against Western Michigan in their season opener, a win that saw them drop out of the Top 25 rankings according to CBS Sports. They are now ranked No. 37.
Oklahoma, meanwhile, is coming off a commanding 51-0 shutout of UTEP last Friday. The No. 11 Sooners, led by John Mateer, will present a significant challenge for Michigan.
Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables expressed his team's readiness for the road game, noting the unique environment of playing away from home. "I think as a competitor, as a coach, you enjoy going on the road," Venables said. "You have an opportunity to help control the environment. . . . The chaos of game day is very real. You like the new challenge of what it can do for your team on the season. We’re going to have to be a team that plays well on the road."
According to FanDuel, the Sooners are favored by 5.5 points heading into the contest.
Fans can watch the game on FOX. For those without cable, the game can be streamed via Sling TV, with the Select plan starting at $19.99 per month, which includes FOX. An upgrade to the Blue plan for $45.99 per month also provides access to FOX and additional channels.
