Michelle Obama was seen attending an event on Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday, where she showcased her dance moves and interacted with attendees. The former First Lady, 62, was at Norman's restaurant in Oak Bluffs for an event hosted by The Vineyard Icon Foundation.

Obama appeared in good spirits, dressed in a strappy white tank top with an open back and Bermuda-style jean shorts, complemented by oversized aviator sunglasses. Footage shared on Instagram by The Vineyard Icon Foundation showed her dancing and embracing attendees, including a clip of her dancing to the song "Wobble."

She attended the event solo, without her husband Barack or their daughters, Malia and Sasha. The appearance comes amid ongoing public discussion about their marriage, fueled by past interviews where both have spoken about the dynamics of their relationship. In a recent interview with The New Yorker, Barack Obama acknowledged "genuine tension" in their household, citing Michelle's desire for him to reduce his public duties to spend more time together. He also told People magazine that he was unsure if their partnership had been "equal," suggesting he may have benefited more from it.

Michelle Obama, however, has publicly praised her husband, expressing pride in his public service and describing their relationship as a counterbalance to each other. She credited him with broadening her perspective and giving her the courage to explore possibilities beyond her initial career path, stating he was her "ballast."

The family was together in June for the opening of The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, where Michelle Obama delivered a speech highlighting her admiration for her husband's character and achievements.

The Vineyard Icon Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on recognizing individuals who make an impact and consider Martha's Vineyard their "happy place." The foundation's founder noted that the Obamas embody this spirit.
