Actress Michelle Monaghan, 50, recently shared a series of photos on Instagram from her vacation in Indonesia, showcasing her fit physique in a colorful string bikini. The trip marked her second visit to the country, with her family accompanying her on this occasion.

Monaghan documented her time by the clear blue water, posting images of herself standing in the sea and enjoying the tropical scenery. "Brb maxxed out 🇮🇩," she captioned one of the posts. Fans reacted positively to the vacation photos, with many praising her appearance and the scenic setting.

A Return Trip Inspired by Dragons

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Monaghan recounted how her family decided to return to Indonesia. She shared that her previous trip was a surfing excursion shortly before she began filming "The Whisper Man" with Robert De Niro. While discussing her travels with De Niro, she learned she had missed seeing the country's famous Komodo dragons.

"I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’ve missed the dragons,’" Monaghan told Fallon, recalling her realization. This conversation prompted her and her family to plan a return trip, specifically to visit Komodo National Park.

Evolving Approach to Health

Monaghan has also spoken about her approach to health and fitness as she navigates midlife. In a previous interview with Fox News Digital, she reflected on turning 50, describing it as an "amazing thing" that encouraged her to be more intentional about how she spends her time and with whom she surrounds herself.

The actress stated that she feels stronger now than in her 30s, emphasizing the importance of strength training, particularly for maintaining muscle and bone health during perimenopause. Her fitness routine typically includes strength training three times a week, supplemented with activities like walking, hiking, jogging, and Pilates when her schedule permits.

"I do a 6 a.m. class, so that gets me up and at them," she said about her strength training regimen. Monaghan also expressed her enjoyment of Pilates, noting its focus on flexibility and breathwork.
