Michelle Keegan, 39, cut a business-chic figure as she departed a photoshoot for her new Very range in Manchester on Thursday. The actress sported a striking two-tone white and grey top paired with tailored black trousers, turning heads with her sophisticated ensemble. She complemented the look with black pointed heels and sunglasses, accessorizing with gold jewelry.
The outing coincided with Keegan discussing her upcoming role in ITV's new police drama, 'The Blame,' alongside co-star Douglas Booth, 34. The series, set to air this autumn, features Keegan as Detective Inspector Emma Crane and Booth as Detective Inspector Tom Radley, who investigate the murder of a teen ice skater. The drama delves into a web of secrets, suspicion, and corruption within a seemingly quiet town, forcing Crane to question those closest to her as they uncover systemic cover-ups.
Keegan recently shared her excitement about the show on Instagram, posting a selfie with Booth and expressing her satisfaction with a productive day. "Fun day with @douglasbooth talking all things 'The Blame' @itv," she wrote, adding a personal note about keeping her underarms dry during a busy day of meetings.
Keegan also reflected on her return to work after welcoming her daughter, Palma, noting the supportive environment on set. "Coming back to work after having a baby is quite daunting," she said, "But the production were so supportive and I was so looked after and it was like working with family." She mentioned that her chemistry with Booth developed organically, bonding over quizzes and food.
Following her work on 'The Blame,' Keegan has begun filming for another adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel, 'The Woods,' for Netflix. This project follows her acclaimed performance in 'Fool Me Once,' which earned her widespread critical praise and suggestions of a move towards Hollywood.
