Michelle Keegan's Paris Getaway Features Celine Dion Concert

Michelle Keegan recently enjoyed a romantic weekend in Paris with her husband, Mark Wright. The trip included sightseeing, cocktails, and caviar, with the highlight being tickets to see Celine Dion perform. Keegan shared details of the surprise on Instagram, noting she had been hinting about the concert for months.

Keegan, 39, and Wright, 39, took time away from their parenting duties with their 18-month-old daughter, Palma. The couple celebrated during Paris Fashion Week, with Keegan posting photos from the restaurant Lapérouse where she wore a black cut-out satin dress from her own collection. "Turns out dropping subtle hints for months really does work… Celine Dion in Paris … magic," she captioned the post.

Celine Dion is currently performing a comeback residency in Paris. The singer has been on a hiatus due to her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a condition diagnosed in December 2022 that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms. SPS had previously affected her ability to walk and sing. Dion has expressed her determination to return to performing, stating in 2024, "I’ll sing again."

This Parisian trip marks a special occasion for Keegan, a long-time fan of Dion. In 2019, she saw Dion perform in Las Vegas, recounting the experience on social media and calling it unforgettable. She described growing up listening to Dion's music with her mother, who taught her the meaning of the lyrics.

In a recent interview with Grazia, Keegan discussed the challenges of balancing her acting career with motherhood. She acknowledged that taking on her role in the ITV crime drama 'The Blame' before having her daughter Palma meant she may have underestimated the demands. "I think I went in blinded," she stated, explaining the difficulty of long work days followed by preparing for the next day's lines and nighttime baby care. She credited her husband, Mark Wright, for his support as a partner and father, and also acknowledged the help of both their families, though she emphasized the demanding nature of being a working mother, describing herself as "absolutely shattered."
