Michelle Keegan Launches New Fashion Collection, Discusses On-Air Anecdotes
The actress celebrated her latest Very range with a champagne dinner while also sharing personal anecdotes on Capital FM.
Actress Michelle Keegan marked the debut of her new fashion collection for Very with a celebratory champagne dinner alongside friends. The event took place on Tuesday at The Newman Hotel.
Keegan, 39, showcased items from her autumn/winter range, opting for a strappy satin top and a neck scarf, paired with brown PVC snake-skin trousers. A customized black taxi, bearing her name, transported her to the venue.
The new 30-piece collection features what is described as accessible style with refined fabrics, flattering cuts, and essential pieces for building outfits. Prices for the collection range from £18 to £75, with a focus on elevated casual daywear and versatile items suitable for various occasions from work to weekends.
"I want the collection to feel effortless with pieces you can throw on in the morning and still love by evening," Keegan stated. "We focused on fit, fabric, and those little details that show the outfit has really been thought through."
She highlighted the chocolate brown blazer and trouser suit as personal favorites, and noted the styling versatility of a stripe knit dress. The campaign for the collection was shot in Manchester.
During a radio appearance on Capital FM, Keegan also shared details about her eating habits, admitting to enjoying mayonnaise with her Chinese takeaway, specifically with chow mein. She described the practice as something she does not consider a regional habit but acknowledged it might be perceived as unusual.
Keegan was also on the radio program to promote her new drama, "The Blame," in which she plays DI Emma Crane. This role is her first since the birth of her daughter, Palma, in March of the previous year. She previously described her return to work after motherhood as "daunting" but noted the supportive nature of the production team.
The actress has also spoken about past public scrutiny regarding her family plans, noting a decision to cease public discussion on the matter due to persistent speculation.
