Michelle Keegan, 39, showcased a new bronde hairstyle during an appearance on The One Show on Thursday to promote her role in the ITV thriller "The Blame." The actress shared photos of her updated look on Instagram, which closely resembles the style often worn by Kate Middleton.

Keegan, known for her roles in "Coronation Street" and "Brassic," has previously expressed admiration for the Princess of Wales and has even stated a desire to portray her in a film. This is not the first time Keegan has appeared to take style cues from Middleton; she has previously sported outfits similar to those worn by the royal, including a green coat reminiscent of Middleton's engagement attire.

In addition to her new hair color, Keegan discussed her role in "The Blame," which premieres on September 20. She revealed that she sought advice from her father, who had a career in the police force, to prepare for the part. "My dad was always quite private about his job, and even now I don't know that many experiences that he went through being in the police force," Keegan stated. "But I went to him, I spoke to him and this part and he told me about the different ranks of the police force, and how your body language would change when someone walks in a room, and I think he's very proud actually that I'm playing this role."

Keegan also reflected on prioritizing motherhood, reportedly stepping back from another ITV drama role to spend more time with her daughter, Palma. The actress was set to play a working-class barrister but withdrew before signing a contract, with Jodie Whittaker taking over the part. Insiders described the decision as a significant setback for the project. A source told The Sun on Sunday that while Keegan was keen on the role, the demanding filming schedule would have meant being away from her child for too long.

"She is dedicated to her acting career, but like all working mums has to prioritise being there for her family, juggling work, parenting and being present for Palma," the source added. Keegan previously described returning to work after having Palma as "daunting," but noted the supportive production team for "The Blame."
