Michael Rubin, CEO of Fanatics, confirmed that he moved his annual Fourth of July party to July 1 to avoid a scheduling conflict with the wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce.
Rubin stated that while he didn't change his plans specifically because of the wedding date, he was aware of it and "didn't want people to have to choose" between attending his event and Swift's ceremony. He told People that he had been "debating the dates" for his Hamptons party before making the final decision.
The star-studded event took place at Rubin's home on Wednesday, with attendees including Alex Rodriguez, Teyana Taylor, and Mike Tyson. Alicia Keys and Cardi B performed at the party.
Swift and Kelce are reportedly set to marry on Friday in New York City at Madison Square Garden, with over 1,000 guests expected. The couple had been engaged since August 2025, and while reports suggested guests had to sign non-disclosure agreements, sources clarified that close family and friends were exempt.
Page Six had initially reported in April that Rubin planned to hold his event on Wednesday, citing Swift's upcoming wedding as the reason. Rubin's party, known as the "White Party," typically falls on July 3 or July 4.
