Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd Reunite for Actor's 88th Birthday

Michael J. Fox, 65, recently reunited with his "Back to the Future" co-star Christopher Lloyd to celebrate Lloyd's 88th birthday. Fox shared a photograph of the reunion, captioning it with a nod to their hit film: "Great Scott you’re 88! That’s some serious s**t, love you!"

Lloyd, who portrayed Emmett "Doc" Brown in the franchise, responded warmly to Fox's post, writing, "We are truly timeless. Love you friend."

In the "Back to the Future" series, Fox played Marty McFly, a teenager who travels through time with his eccentric scientist friend, Emmett "Doc" Brown, in a DeLorean time machine. The first film, released in 1985, was a critical and commercial success, establishing both actors as major stars and spawning two sequels.

Fox has been publicly navigating his battle with Parkinson's disease since publicly disclosing his diagnosis in 1998. He was diagnosed with the condition in 1991 at the age of 29. Parkinson's disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement, often causing tremors, stiffness, and balance issues. Despite the challenges, Fox has remained active in advocating for research and raising awareness.

In recent months, Fox has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts. He received the Hope Humanitarian Award at the Emmy Awards and was inducted into the Order of Canada. He also recently shared that he has returned to acting, noting that while Parkinson's affects his memory, his role in the series "Shrinking" allowed him to "show up on set" as himself.

Through his foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, he has raised over $3 billion for research into the disease. He has spoken openly about his journey, emphasizing the importance of continued research and support for those affected by Parkinson's.
