Celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger has found a way to make high heels comfortable, even for her high-profile clients. Erlanger, known for her work with stars like Meryl Streep and Lupita Nyong’o, relies on the British footwear brand Sole Bliss to keep her clients comfortable during press tours and events.

"My clients live in them," Erlanger told Page Six Style, referencing the brand's shoes. "They’re so comfortable. They’re so well-made. They’re honestly perfect evening-wear shoes."

Erlanger has styled Streep for over a decade and was recently honored at the 42nd Annual Fashion Group International (FGI) Night of Stars Gala in New York. She has worked with Sole Bliss on a collection of event-ready heels, including the Riviera Heel, which Meryl Streep wore in multiple colors while promoting the film "The Devil Wears Prada 2." The Sole Bliss Carmen Pump, another style from the brand, was recognized in The Post’s inaugural Made It Here Awards for its comfort.

Beyond footwear, Erlanger also shared some of her other styling tips, describing her kit as a "Mary Poppins bag of tricks." This includes essentials like stain remover and hairspray, which she uses to prevent runs in tights. Erlanger emphasized her preparedness for any fashion emergency, often having backup options available.

She recalled a notable fashion moment when Lupita Nyong'o wore a pale blue Prada gown to the 2014 Oscars, for which Erlanger had prepared two dresses. "We made two dresses for that occasion with Prada. There was another one we thought she was going to wear," Erlanger said. "When we tried on the blue one, we changed our minds — and that wound up being the dress that she won the Academy Award in."
