A crane arm collapsed onto the pool deck of the One Plaza West Brickell condo building in Miami on Friday, narrowly missing construction workers who were assembling the structure. The incident occurred while the crane was not yet operational.

Video captured by a bystander showed the crane's arm falling through the air and crashing into palm trees on the elevated pool area. Several workers were seen clinging to the upper portion of the crane before climbing down ladders to safety. No injuries were reported among the construction crew.

Miami Fire Rescue spokesperson Lt. Pete Sanchez confirmed that firefighters searched the pool deck and found no victims. The area was secured to prevent public access.

Following the collapse, the arm was partially submerged in the pool. Miami's Building Department and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the failure.
