Miami, Art Deco Influences Inspire London Homes Featured on Grand Designs

Two distinct semi-detached houses, collectively known as The Cloud House, have been completed in the Gospel Oak area of north London. Architect Peter Morris dedicated approximately a decade to the development of these residences, which are characterized by prominent arches and distinctive duck-egg blue metalwork.

While the two homes have separate owners, they were constructed by the same architect and contractor, adhering to a unified exterior design. Morris stated that his design was influenced by the nearby St Martin's Church and the Art Deco architecture found in Miami. The project was recently featured on Channel 4's program, Grand Designs.
