A live television report on a roadside accident in Monterrey, Mexico, took a dangerous turn when an SUV collided with the news crew. Reporter Alma de la Rosa and cameraman Cristo Martínez of Gamavisión Noticias TV were on the side of a busy road in Nuevo León when the incident occurred on Friday.

De la Rosa was approximately 33 seconds into her segment, which was covering a motorcycle accident caused by debris from a landslide, when the SUV slid into their position. Video of the event shows the vehicle striking the reporter before knocking Martínez to the ground. De la Rosa was thrown out of the camera's view.

Both journalists were transported to a local hospital and reported to be in stable condition. De la Rosa stated in a social media post that she did not sustain any fractures, though Martínez did. She expressed gratitude for their survival, calling it "a miracle."

In a video from the hospital, de la Rosa mentioned that this was the first on-air accident in her 35-year career. She noted that she had been warning motorists to slow down due to the conditions on the road when the collision happened.
