Metro by T-Mobile has introduced a lineup of prepaid mobile plans designed to offer value without long-term contracts. The company's offerings include three distinct plans, each featuring unlimited talk and text, along with 5G data capabilities.
The most basic plan is priced at $40 per month and provides unlimited 5G data, talk, and text. This plan also includes T-Mobile Tuesdays deals and Scam Shield, a service aimed at blocking unwanted calls. While it offers unlimited data, speeds may be reduced after exceeding 35GB of usage per month, especially during peak network times. This plan does not include hotspot data, Google One storage, or an Amazon Prime membership.
A mid-tier option is available for $50 per month with AutoPay, with the first month costing $55. This plan also features unlimited 5G data, talk, and text, along with T-Mobile Tuesdays and Scam Shield. Key additions to this plan include 8GB of mobile hotspot data and 100GB of Google One storage. The data threshold before potential speed reductions is 50GB per month.
The premium plan is priced at $60 per month with AutoPay, and $65 for the first month. This top-tier offering includes unlimited premium 5G data, talk, and text, as well as T-Mobile Tuesdays and Scam Shield. It distinguishes itself by providing 25GB of mobile hotspot data, 100GB of Google One storage, and an Amazon Prime membership. Additionally, this plan supports unlimited international texting to over 210 countries and includes phone upgrade options. Similar to the other plans, speeds may be affected if usage significantly exceeds certain thresholds during busy network periods.
