Before joining FOX 5 Atlanta on August 12, Meda worked at WESH2 as a full-time meteorologist. Even at his previous station, his appearance attracted viewers, with one commenter stating, "Marques, I love u ur only the reason I watch WESH 2."
Meda announced his departure from WESH 2 in July, sharing on Facebook, "While this season is coming to a close, every ending is also the beginning of a new story. I'm excited for what's ahead, grateful for everything these pages in my book of life have given me."
His career path includes an internship at CBS 2 in Manhattan, followed by a full-time role at WNCT in North Carolina. He then served as a Combat Weather Forecaster at Otis Air Force Base for seven years.
Meda also spent five years in Atlanta working with The Weather Channel and Local Now. He recently joined the FOX 5 Atlanta Storm Team, expressing his enthusiasm on Facebook: "Thrilled to be back in the Peach State of Georgia, joining an incredible group of meteorologists for the FOX 5 Atlanta Storm Team."
