The Halloween performance is the second of two shows the band will play over the Halloweekend. The residency features "No Repeat" gigs, with each concert offering a different setlist. Saturday shows, including the Halloween performance, typically include fan favorites such as “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “The Unforgiven,” and “Fuel.” Night one shows featured songs like “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Ride the Lightning,” and “Nothing Else Matters.”

Reviewers have described the Sphere shows as visually stunning, combining crisp graphics, immersive mini-movies, and larger-than-life projections of the band. Publications like Riff Magazine noted the scale of the production, stating, "Metallica has always been a band that likes to put on a show, and Sphere gave it a new scale on which to do it."

Metallica's "Life Burns Faster" residency at the Sphere is scheduled to continue with various dates through March 2027. The band also has upcoming shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, in November to celebrate the venue's 25th anniversary. This marks their first performance in Connecticut since July 1998.

In addition to Metallica's residency, the Las Vegas Sphere is hosting other acts, including "The Wizard of Oz" screenings, Eagles, Backstreet Boys, Oprah Winfrey, John Mayer, and Carín León. Information on upcoming events at the Sphere can be found on their website.

Metallica released their 11th studio album, "72 Seasons," on April 14, 2023. The album is known for its high-energy tracks such as "Lux Æterna," "Sleepwalk My Life Away," and "You Must Burn!"

For fans unable to attend the Las Vegas shows, other major heavy metal acts, including Rush, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, and Alice Cooper, are touring. Additionally, System of a Down has scheduled dates for June 2027 in Pasadena, California.
