Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former top aide to Melania Trump, is venturing into television production, seeking to forge a new identity separate from her controversial White House exit.
Wolkoff, who previously served as an adviser to Melania Trump and was a confidante before Donald Trump's presidency, stated her intention not to be defined by her past political role. "Melania was one chapter of my life. It’s not my story," she told Page Six. Wolkoff has produced a show titled "Gunslingers" and is currently executive producing "The Trouble with Billy," a fictionalized series starring William McNamara.
The former fashion insider's departure from the White House followed revelations that her firm received approximately $26 million for organizing Donald Trump's first inauguration. Wolkoff has maintained she was a "scapegoat" and that her personal earnings from the event were a fraction of that sum.
She has been actively promoting her new projects in New York City, including "The Trouble with Billy," which streams on Red Coral Universe. Wolkoff expressed a desire to create stories that emphasize second chances and the individuals behind public personas. "I don’t want to be defined by politics or betrayal. I want to spend my time creating stories that remind us to look beyond the headline, believe in second chances and never lose sight of the person behind the public image," she said.
