Mel B Enjoys LA Sunshine Amidst Filming for America's Got Talent

Mel B, the British singer also known as Scary Spice, was seen enjoying the Los Angeles sunshine on Wednesday with an energetic morning hike alongside her husband, Rory McPhee. The 51-year-old star, currently in the U.S. for filming of the new season of America's Got Talent, where she serves as a judge, opted for a bright pink bikini during the outing. She was observed dancing and singing on the trail, an activity she shared via an Instagram video, noting she was getting "show ready."

Rory McPhee, Mel B's hairdresser husband, has joined her in the United States while she works on the talent show. The couple, along with Mel B's three children—Phoenix, 27; Angel, 19; and Madison, 14—consider Yorkshire, England, their home, having purchased a £2.2 million property there last year. This move back to her roots in Yorkshire is a significant chapter for Mel B, who has described it as a "second act" and one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Mel B has spoken about her life's journey, noting she has "come full circle." After achieving international fame with the Spice Girls, she lived in the U.S. and was previously in a relationship with actor Eddie Murphy, with whom she has her daughter Angel. She later married film producer Stephen Belafonte in 2007, and they bought a large home in the Hollywood Hills. However, their 10-year marriage ended in a contentious divorce, and the property was eventually sold in 2019 after multiple price reductions.

Following the divorce and custody battles, Mel B faced significant financial hardship, having stated she was left with just £700 at one point. She described returning to the UK in 2019 and living in her mother's bungalow with her children. Now, she expresses happiness and contentment with her current life, especially after marrying McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in July of the previous year. The couple has been renovating their Yorkshire home, which sits on 11 acres of land and includes features like goats and chickens, a forest, and protection dogs. Mel B has indicated that this return to Yorkshire has provided her with a sense of safety and peace.
