Mel B and Rory McPhee Enjoy Beverly Hills Date Night

Mel B, 51, was spotted on a date night with her husband Rory McPhee, 38, in Beverly Hills, channeling her iconic 'Scary Spice' persona with leopard print accessories and a PVC mini skirt. The couple was seen holding hands as they left the Mr. Chow restaurant.

The couple married just over a year ago and have been residing in the United States while Mel B serves as a judge on America's Got Talent. Her husband, a hairdresser, has joined her in the U.S. for her work on the show. Despite their time in America, the couple, along with Mel B's three children, consider Yorkshire, England, their home.

Mel B has spoken about feeling she has come 'full circle,' having grown up in Leeds before achieving international fame and eventually returning to her Yorkshire roots. After her rise to stardom with the Spice Girls, she moved to the U.S. and had a relationship with actor Eddie Murphy, with whom she has a daughter. She later married film producer Stephen Belafonte in 2007. Their marriage ended in a contentious divorce, and they sold their Hollywood Hills home in 2019.

Despite a successful career, Mel B experienced financial difficulties following the divorce. In 2024, she shared that she was left with a modest sum after costly legal battles. She previously disclosed resorting to shopping at budget stores and moving into her mother's bungalow with her children upon her return to the UK in 2019.

She now describes her current life as her "second act" and expressed happiness after marrying Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in July of the previous year. Last year, reports indicated that Mel B purchased a property in Yorkshire for £2.2 million, set on 11 acres of land, which she has been renovating into a family home with leisure facilities.
