Media personality Megyn Kelly has suggested that former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton harbor mutual disdain, citing a recent public appearance in Italy as evidence. Kelly, host of "The Megyn Kelly Show," shared footage of the couple walking in Italy during her program on Tuesday, describing their dynamic as "weird."
In the clip, Hillary Clinton is seen walking ahead, dressed in white pants, a black-and-white blouse, and a white baseball cap. Bill Clinton followed several steps behind, wearing a red baseball cap that Kelly characterized as "MAGA-adjacent," a blue button-down shirt, and jeans.
"Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton [are] still together after all these years," Kelly quipped sarcastically, referring to their vacation. "They jetted off to Europe for a summer vacation, and I just want to show you the tape because they looked like the perfect lovebirds. You can see that they're keeping the flame alive."
Kelly also made a sartorial comparison, likening Hillary Clinton's outfit to the Hamburglar, a McDonald's advertising mascot. She noted the approximately 20-foot distance between the two.
"I don't know what goes on in that weird marriage, but I love watching it from afar," Kelly stated. "[They] clearly still want nothing to do with one another. It's very interesting."
This observation follows a prior incident in March where the couple was seen in Midtown Manhattan. Videos circulating online showed Hillary Clinton appearing to scold her husband as they attempted to cross a busy street. During the incident, Bill Clinton seemed to stumble into his wife while she was in a crosswalk, prompting her to pull back from an apparent jaywalking attempt and then admonish him.
"No, no, no, no, no. Don't do that. Don't do that," she was heard saying, before turning back to the corner. Bill Clinton responded, "That's not a good idea," with a grin.
The earlier video also fueled speculation online, with commentator Benny Johnson questioning on X (formerly Twitter) if Bill Clinton was "trying to get rid of her," and comic writer Boris Amado claiming the former president was "trying to push her into traffic."
