Megyn Kelly has criticized Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's parenting choices, citing their daughter North West's appearance on the cover of Dazed magazine. Kelly expressed concern over the 13-year-old's portrayal on the British quarterly publication, which features her with blue hair, grills, and what appear to be facial piercings.
On her podcast, Kelly questioned the parents' judgment, drawing a parallel between North's age and that of her own son, who is the same age. "Does North West have good parents? Because she is on the cover of this British quarterly magazine right now with false teeth, like a grill situation, blue hair, all these facial piercings," Kelly stated.
Kelly suggested that Kardashian and West are "rushing to try to make her a star without, it doesn’t appear, any reflection of the significant downside of putting your child on camera for her childhood." North West has also been reportedly launching an album and performing at concerts.
This is not the first time the co-parents have faced public scrutiny regarding their children's upbringing. In September 2025, North's finger piercings drew backlash online. Kardashian responded to a TikTok user's comment expressing heartbreak over the piercing by writing, "it’s okay 🫶." Later, in October 2025, Kardashian referred to her daughter's temporary face tattoos and piercings as a "non-issue."
During an interview with Alex Cooper on "Call Her Daddy" last October, Kardashian addressed criticism of her children's style. She noted that when her daughter attempts to adopt trends seen on other children, it sometimes leads to a public mistake. "Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world," Kardashian said at the time.
