Meghan McCain has sharply criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, referring to them as "D-list royals" and "entitled grifters" following the announcement of their return to the United Kingdom for an extended stay. McCain expressed her views on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, stating that Americans can discern "bulls—t" and dislike individuals perceived as entitled.

"They could never hack it here and truly no one gives a s–t about D-list royals,” McCain tweeted. “Good luck to our friends in the UK, they’re your problem now.”

Page Six confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are scheduled to return to the UK at the end of the month. A source indicated that King Charles III was informed of the plan on Sunday and is reportedly a motivating factor behind the move. Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, have reportedly already been enrolled in schools in Britain.

McCain, a frequent critic of the couple, previously described Meghan Markle's attempts at a lifestyle rebrand as "horrible" and "boring."

The royal family was made aware of the Sussexes' relocation plans. However, their status as private individuals and "non-working members" of the royal family is expected to remain unchanged. King Charles III is reportedly adhering to the late Queen Elizabeth II's policy of no "half-in, half-out" arrangements for working royals. The couple intends to reside in a "non-royal residence" while continuing their business ventures.

This move marks a return to the UK for Harry and Markle, who left their royal duties six years ago, initially relocating to Canada before settling in California. Harry has been reportedly seeking to mend his relationship with his father, King Charles III. The family recently reunited with the King during a visit to the UK, marking the first time the monarch had seen his grandchildren in four years. Notably, during this visit, the Sussexes did not have contact with Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
