Meghan Markle has shared a series of photographs from what appears to be the family's summer holidays in Europe, featuring Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet. Among the images are scenes that suggest a visit to Althorp, the childhood home of Princess Diana.

The family had been in Europe in the weeks leading up to Prince Harry's scheduled return to the UK for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. While Harry traveled to Britain alone, Markle and the children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, delayed their arrival amid security concerns and entered the country secretly.

One of the shared images shows Lilibet walking through a tree-lined avenue, with Harry and Archie in front of her, seemingly holding bouquets. This scene is believed to depict Althorp, the Spencer family estate. Other photos from the collection include a Portuguese fish restaurant, Markle on a sun lounger, and curated dinner table settings.

Archie is also pictured in the cockpit of a plane, wearing a pilot's hat, while other individuals surround him. The presence of flowers in some images has led to speculation that the family may have visited Diana's burial site on the estate.

In line with Markle's practice of protecting her children's privacy, their faces are turned away from the camera in the photographs. The images also show Harry and Markle sharing a laugh at a dinner table and walking on a beach.

Additional photos capture Harry running towards waves with Lilibet and Archie behind him, and a picture of Markle lying on a sun lounger. The family was reportedly believed to be vacationing in Portugal, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are rumored to have acquired a property near Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
