Meghan Markle Shares Rare Glimpse of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in UK
A video posted to Instagram Stories shows the young royals enjoying the English countryside.
Meghan Markle recently offered a rare look into the lives of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet since their family's relocation to the United Kingdom in August. A video shared on her Instagram Stories depicted the two children experiencing the English countryside.
In the clip, 7-year-old Archie is seen riding a scooter, accompanied by his 5-year-old sister Lilibet. Wild deer can be observed in the distance as the family's black Labrador retriever, Pula, also makes an appearance. The Temptations' song "My Girl" accompanies the visual.
This marks the second time the Duchess of Sussex has shared footage of her children since the family returned to the UK. In September, she posted a video featuring the children in the countryside, which also included a segment of Prince Harry in a small boat with the children fishing.
Prince Harry has spoken about his children's adjustment, stating in a September interview that they are "happy in school" and that it has been "great to be back on British soil."
The family's transition to the UK has encountered some challenges. Archie and Lilibet were withdrawn from their initial school after only two days due to security concerns related to their commute. Additionally, Markle's personal phone number was inadvertently shared in a school parents' WhatsApp group, leading to a security scare.
King Charles III addressed the couple's move by issuing a statement emphasizing that his son and daughter-in-law are now "private citizens with commercial and charitable interests."
Recently, Markle also shared photos from a tea meeting with Malala Yousafzai in London. This gathering coincided with the announcement of a partnership between Markle's jam company, "As Ever," and the Malala Fund. A portion of the proceeds from the company's jams and teas will support the Malala Fund's educational initiatives for girls.
