Meghan Markle's recent product launch for her new lavender honey has garnered significant attention and mixed reactions on social media. Fans have criticized the marketing materials, with some labeling them "amateur" and featuring "blunders."

The promotional photos for her brand, As Ever, showcase the new lavender honey alongside an existing orange blossom variant. One image featured two jars, one upright and the other upside down, surrounded by flowers and a sprig of lavender. This particular arrangement drew criticism, with one user commenting, "Why has she photographed the two jars of honey this way - one upright and the other completely upside down." Another critique pointed out the inclusion of what appeared to be "dead flowers," stating, "And with a sad, half-dead lavender stalk next to the orange blossom honey instead of the lavender one... It doesn't look 'artsy', Meghan. It just looks weird."

Some social media users compared the aesthetic unfavorably, with one remarking, "It's giving Temu," while another called the pictures "basic." Concerns were also raised about the positioning of the new lavender honey jar being upside down in the promotional image.

Despite the criticisms, many users expressed enthusiasm for the new honey. Comments included praise for the "summery" new flavors and descriptions like "exquisite" and "speaks to their tastebuds." The lavender honey is retailing for $32 (£24) per bottle, with Meghan describing it as "a floral gift of summer with a delicate warmth that lingers beautifully."

The launch occurs as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly vacationing in Europe with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Prince Harry is also scheduled to be in the UK next month for the Invictus Games.
