Meghan Markle's Father Investigated Over Alleged Child Porn Stash

Meghan Markle's estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., is reportedly under investigation after his son allegedly discovered a large collection of child pornography hidden among family mementos in a home in the Philippines. Thomas Markle Jr. claims he found the alleged stash over the summer while searching for a phone.

According to reports, Markle Jr. stated that the material, described as "hundreds if not thousands" of images and videos, was discovered in four boxes at his father's home in Cebu. He told authorities that among the items was a 15-minute video depicting children reportedly no older than 10 or 11, as well as three images of similarly aged girls who were naked or scantily clad.

One alleged image was reportedly taken of the screen of a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, which Markle Jr. recognized from his father's former home in Rosarito, Mexico. The Duchess of Sussex's half-brother described himself as a "shaking wreck" upon realizing what he had found. He subsequently reported the discovery to the FBI hotline, state police in Pennsylvania, and the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children.

Thomas Markle Sr., 82, was living in Pennsylvania at the time of the alleged discovery. Meghan Markle, who has been estranged from her father for years, released a statement saying she is "deeply disturbed" by the reports.
