Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently vacationing in Europe with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, according to reports. The family of four's current location in Europe has not been specified.

This European getaway comes as the couple's previously reported plans to bring their children to the United Kingdom in July appear uncertain. Earlier reports indicated that Harry and Markle had intended for Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, to visit the UK for the first time since 2022.

Sources had suggested that Harry, 41, hoped to bring his wife and children to England while promoting his Invictus Games. He also reportedly wished for his children to visit his father, King Charles.

However, these family visit plans may be canceled due to the couple being denied taxpayer-funded security for their trip. "Their plans to see family, friends and visit various charitable causes close to the duke’s heart have been pulled out from under their feet at the eleventh hour," a source told The Guardian.

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly exploring all options to ensure Markle, Archie, and Lilibet can travel to England safely. Harry is expected to provide his own security detail for the trip, as the couple anticipated a significant public event.

Harry, who covers his private security costs in the U.S. at approximately $3 million annually, has been in a dispute with the British Home Office regarding 24/7 armed police escorts. A representative for the Duke of Sussex stated he is in a "holding pattern" concerning this issue.

King Charles has reportedly extended an offer to Harry, proposing a royal residence that would include private security for his stay with his wife and children. Harry is scheduled to attend a "one-year-to-go" countdown event for the Invictus Games, which are slated to take place from July 10-17, 2027.
