Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to receive an official risk assessment in the UK, according to reports. The Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) has requested the couple provide details of their daily routines for the review. This development follows the family's return to Britain.

Amid the security considerations, Prince Harry and Meghan have reportedly decided to change their children's schools. The decision, made just two days after their children began at the original institution, was reportedly influenced by concerns over commute times, traffic congestion, and the strain on their private security team. Princess Lilibet, 5, and Prince Archie, 7, are now enrolled in a new school.

Meghan had previously expressed concerns about her children's privacy in the UK, citing potential paparazzi attention during school drop-offs and pick-ups. A friend close to the couple told The Telegraph that school runs pose the greatest risk, particularly as they are no longer guaranteed taxpayer-funded security during visits to the UK.

The news of the security review comes as Meghan shared an intimate video on Instagram showcasing the family's return to Britain. The video featured footage of Lilibet riding a tricycle, Archie running alongside her, and Prince Harry taking his children fishing on a boat. This public sharing of family moments has drawn commentary, with royal commentator Kinsey Schofield describing it as "striking" and noting a potential contradiction between seeking privacy and broadcasting family life.

"If privacy is genuinely the priority, the most effective strategy is simple… stop broadcasting your family life to millions of strangers," Schofield stated. "Every hyper-curated glimpse of the children, the dogs, the countryside, and their domestic routine invites more attention, more questions, and more interest in where and how they are living."

Prince Harry and Meghan are awaiting a decision from the UK's Home Office regarding long-term taxpayer-funded police protection following their relocation to Europe. They were previously denied such protection during visits to the UK.
