Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was recently seen dining with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai at Claridge's hotel in London's Mayfair. This marks Markle's first public appearance in the city since she and Prince Harry moved back to the United Kingdom with their two children in August.

The pair were previously linked in 2020 when they participated in a virtual discussion focused on the importance of girls' education for International Day of the Girl. During that event, Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by the Taliban at age 14 for advocating for girls' education and later became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient, spoke alongside Markle and Prince Harry.

In their 2020 conversation, Markle emphasized the impact of women's voices in policy and societal change, stating, "When young girls have access to education, everyone wins, and everyone succeeds." Markle's London sighting comes after the Sussexes' relocation from Montecito, California. The couple and their children, Archie and Lilibet, settled back into the UK over the summer. Earlier in October, Markle and Prince Harry were photographed entering the Falkland Arms pub in the Cotswolds, which was noted as their first public outing since their move back to Britain.

Markle has also been active with her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, recently announcing a festive range. This includes a £112 chocolate advent calendar, available for pre-order in the United States, which she described as inspired by her Montecito home and garden. The advent calendar features hand-painted countdown numbers in Markle's handwriting and is adorned with edible gold lustre. The flavors include various fruit profiles and a
