Meghan Markle has denied discussing details of her reunion with King Charles at a recent dinner party, a claim made by lifestyle guru Martha Stewart. A source close to the Duchess of Sussex stated that Stewart "must have been confused" as Markle was not seated near her during the event.

Stewart had told People magazine that Markle was "talking about" her family's recent trip to the UK to visit Prince Harry's father at Highgrove House. "I know she was," Stewart insisted. The Sussexes had a private reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla last month during their trip to Britain. Harry reportedly agreed not to speak publicly about the visit, and no photographs were to be shared.

However, a source close to Markle stated that the Duchess did not discuss the UK visit at all, only mentioning that she had enjoyed a pleasant holiday in Europe. The insider suggested that Stewart may not have overheard any conversation about the royal visit because they were not seated adjacent to one another. "Meghan was asked by someone else about her European vacation and said it was nice, and that was the extent of it," the source said, adding, "I think she must have been confused."

Despite this disagreement, the source added that Markle remains a "fan" of Stewart. Stewart's comments come as the Duchess has recently launched her own cooking show, "With Love, Meghan," and has been exploring her endeavors in the homemaking space.

Stewart has previously commented on Markle's move into the culinary world, stating she hopes the Duchess "knows what she's talking about" and emphasizing the importance of authenticity and subject matter knowledge. She also noted that she does not "mind" the idea of having successors in the homemaking sphere.

Separately, Meghan Markle recently celebrated her 45th birthday. She shared videos on Instagram of herself dancing and celebrating with balloons, also showing her dogs, Pula and Mamma Mia, wearing birthday hats. Her lifestyle brand, As Ever, also posted a tribute, including a childhood photo of the Duchess.
