McDonald's Rolls Out New Holiday Drinks
The fast-food giant introduces limited-edition Frosted Cranberry Splash, Red Bull Cranberry Energizer, and Cookie Butter Frappé options for the holiday season.

McDonald's is ushering in the holiday season with a new lineup of limited-edition beverages. The festive drinks, which include a Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite, a Red Bull Cranberry Energizer, and a Cookie Butter Frappé, will be available at all locations starting November 3.
The Frosted Cranberry Splash combines orange and cranberry flavors, topped with cold foam and red sprinkles. For those seeking an energy boost, the Red Bull Cranberry Energizer can be mixed with either original Red Bull or Red Bull Zero, designed to support busy holiday schedules.
The Cookie Butter Frappé and its hot coffee counterpart feature the popular cookie butter flavor, finished with caramel cookie crumbs and vanilla whipped cream. These sweet options are aimed at providing a dessert-like experience.
Early reviews from social media influencers suggest a positive reception for the new offerings. Foodie content creator @snackolater described the cookie butter drinks as "the best that they’ve ever done," comparing them to a "cookie butter dessert." He rated the cookie butter latte seven out of ten, noting the espresso flavor complements the cookie butter.
Another creator, Michelle Kim, expressed enthusiasm for the cranberry options, particularly the Sprite-based drink. "I usually don’t like Red Bull," she admitted, "But the cranberry is really good." She found the Sprite version even more appealing, noting a stronger cranberry taste.
Kim also enjoyed the cookie butter latte, calling it "perfect for the holidays."
The launch of these holiday drinks follows McDonald's recent reintroduction of its iconic McRib sandwich.
