A McDonald's employee in Lodi, California, shot a female colleague on Monday morning before being killed by responding police officers. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at a McDonald's located in San Joaquin County.
The suspect, identified as Jonhatan Anguiano, 29, entered the restaurant armed with a semi-automatic pistol and fired multiple shots, injuring the female employee. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, according to authorities.

As officers approached Anguiano, he reportedly opened fire on one of them, prompting the officers to return fire and fatally shoot him. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
