Maya Jama is taking a break from her television duties to spend time with her family in Sweden. The Love Island host, who is of Swedish heritage, shared a series of photos on Instagram showcasing her time with loved ones.
One of the shared images showed Jama relaxing in a traditional wooden sauna, wearing a white bikini. Other pictures captured her enjoying the Swedish countryside and posing in a white crop top and matching skirt.
Jama captioned the post, "The best time back in Sweden." The presenter had previously announced she was taking the month off to focus on summer activities following the conclusion of the Love Island final in late July.
Prior to her trip to Sweden, Jama had been in Greece and attended an event in London. The notes also mention recent personal events, including a social media post made by Jama that appeared to be a jibe at her ex-boyfriend, footballer Ruben Dias, following their reported split in April. Dias had reportedly commented on his feelings being 'on silent' after their separation. Following their breakup, Dias participated in the World Cup with the Portugal team before a break in Ibiza.
Additionally, reports indicated that Jama had a social interaction with chef James Freeman outside his London restaurant in Notting Hill.
