Maya Jama has clarified rumors suggesting a rekindled romance with her ex-Stormzy. The television presenter, who recently refollowed the rapper on Instagram and was seen singing along to his music, insisted that they have "always been friends" and that "no one is back together."

Jama took to X, formerly Twitter, to address speculation circulating after she shared a clip of herself singing along to Stormzy's song "One Second." This followed her unfollowing him after their July 2024 breakup. The pair, who dated from 2015 to 2019, briefly rekindled their relationship in August 2023 before parting ways again.

Jama's recent Instagram posts have also drawn attention to her physique. She shared a series of images, including one in a pale yellow cut-out swimsuit, declaring that she has returned to her "happy weight." Earlier this year, Jama expressed a desire for a "thicker body," noting the challenges for naturally slender individuals. She previously mentioned weight training and eating late at night as methods to gain weight, stating, "I've gained weight before and I will do it again."

The presenter also alluded to her acting debut in the Netflix series "The Gentleman" in a post that included a snap of her watching the show. In addition to her past relationship with Stormzy, Jama previously dated Portuguese footballer Ruben, 29, whom she split from earlier this year.
