Maya Jama and King Kenny Fuel Romance Rumors at Halloween Party
The "Traitors" co-stars attended a star-studded Halloween bash, with Jama dressed as Sir Mo Farah, amid ongoing speculation about their relationship.
Maya Jama hosted a lively Halloween party on Saturday night, with "The Traitors" co-star and rumored love interest King Kenny among the guests. The event, held at a Shoreditch venue, followed the nail-biting finale of the BBC show on Friday.
Jama, 32, arrived in a striking costume, transforming into Olympian Sir Mo Farah. She wore a running vest, shorts, a Union Jack draped over her shoulders, gold medals, and a bald cap. Sir Mo Farah himself reacted to the costume, humorously remarking on social media that he "thought that was me."
"This year I wanted to pay homage to @SirMoFarah our Olympic champ and all round legend (and I think we look alike lowkey)," Jama wrote on Instagram, thanking Farah for lending her his actual Olympic outfit and medals.
King Kenny, 29, was seen leaving Jama's London flat just hours before the party, having reportedly stayed for two nights. He had also been seen leaving her flat the day prior before filming for "Romesh's Celebrity Traitors Reunion" on BBC Radio 2. The pair were eliminated as Traitors in the final episode of the show, sparking romance rumors among viewers due to their on-screen chemistry.
However, sources close to Jama have dismissed these rumors, stating that the pair are just good friends and that Kenny slept on her sofa. "Maya and Kenny are just friends. There is nothing romantic between them," a source told the Daily Mail. "Kenny has been firmly on the sofa this week and the pair find it hilarious that their relationship could be anything else."
According to the insider, Jama is currently single and has a group of friends staying with her, with whom Kenny has been hanging out. They have reportedly been watching "The Traitors" finale together and preparing costumes for the Halloween party. The source added that they have built a "strong bond" from their time on the show and are "really good friends."
Jama previously split from Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias in May after 18 months of dating. The couple reportedly ended their relationship due to busy career schedules. At the time of their breakup, Jama stated, "I'm an all or nothing girl... I will love loudly or not at all."
During "The Traitors," viewers noted the chemistry between Jama and Kenny, who worked together as Traitors. Kenny even playfully suggested he would never look at Maya the same way if she turned out to be a Traitor, a comment that was met with laughter from fellow contestants Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft.
In the show's final episode, Kenny voted to banish Jama, describing the move as "so difficult" but necessary for his potential solo victory as the last remaining Traitor. The grand finale attracted a record-breaking 11.2 million viewers.
Jama did not appear on the spin-off show due to overlapping filming commitments for series three of Guy Ritchie's drama "The Gentlemen."
