Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby’s wife, Rachel, has revealed that she experienced significant nervousness upon her initial experiences attending games, primarily due to the team's widely known and intense fanbase. In a video interview posted on the Raiders' official YouTube channel, she described the cautionary advice she received before her first games.

"I was nervous, because everybody was like, ‘You have to wear black, make sure everyone’s with you, wear Raiders stuff, don’t talk to the fans’. So, I’m nervous as hell,” Rachel Crosby stated, recalling her early visits to games at the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum. She noted that this advice was particularly relevant to her first experiences with the team's home games during Crosby's rookie season.

Despite her initial apprehension, Crosby added that her overall experience turned out to be positive, and she has since become a well-regarded figure within the Raiders' fan community. Her husband, Maxx Crosby, has risen to become one of the NFL's premier pass rushers.

The atmosphere at games has evolved since the Raiders relocated to Las Vegas and began playing at Allegiant Stadium. Sources suggest that home games at the new venue tend to have a more corporate and tourist-heavy feel, differing from the intense and universally rowdy environment of the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum. This shift may contribute to a less intimidating experience for the families of players attending games today compared to the early days of Maxx Crosby's career.
