Maxx Crosby Issues Fiery Warning to Chiefs Ahead of Showdown

The Las Vegas Raiders, currently enjoying a 3-0 start to the season, are preparing to face a familiar and formidable opponent: the Kansas City Chiefs. Following a hard-fought 35-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints, Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby issued a bold challenge to his teammates and the upcoming competition.

"It’s a great F—ing win. But we’ve got a great f—ing team coming into town," Crosby stated. "We already know what it is. It’s the f—ing Kansas City Chiefs." He added, "Enjoy this s— tonight, take of your bodies, and we’re on a f—ing warpath to get what we want, man."

This sentiment comes as the Raiders have struggled against the Chiefs in recent years, losing 11 of the last 14 matchups since Crosby's rookie season in 2019. However, the Raiders did manage a 14-12 victory in their last encounter, a game in which Crosby was sidelined due to injury.

Despite the historical disparity, the Raiders have shown resilience this season under new head coach Klint Kubiak. Their recent victory against the Saints exemplified this, as the team rallied from a 27-16 deficit in the third quarter to secure the win. Key plays included a 35-yard rushing touchdown by rookie running back Mike Washington, a four-yard touchdown reception by Cody White to take the lead, and a game-sealing four-yard touchdown reception by tight end Brock Bowers from quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Bowers, who missed the team's first two games while recovering from a meniscus procedure, made a significant impact in his return, recording 10 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are also coming off a victory. Mahomes threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-10 win against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, demonstrating his return to form after an ACL injury earlier in the year.
