Maxx Crosby Claims Patrick Mahomes Makes a 'Moaning' Sound When Tackled

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby has offered a unique perspective on facing Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, claiming that Mahomes makes a distinct sound when tackled. Crosby, who has a history of pressuring Mahomes, shared his thoughts on his podcast, "The Rush."

Crosby, who has recorded 6.5 sacks and 49 quarterback pressures against Mahomes in his career, described his interactions during games. "Pat, [we] had our back and forth’s all game. I felt like I definitely got to him a few times. We had our conversations, but ultimate respect with him. He knows that," Crosby said.

When asked by his co-host about his exchanges with Mahomes, Crosby elaborated on the physical encounters. "It started early. We were very close to each other, physically, out of the gate. Got some good hits on him. It’s just funny, every time I hit him, he rolls over and he peeks at me, just to see. And I’m always in his face, just staring at him," Crosby recounted.

Regarding the specific sound Mahomes makes, Crosby imitated a noise when asked if the quarterback moans. "A whine? Don’t say moan, just don’t say that word," his co-host responded. Crosby, laughing, conceded, "There’s no other word! But yeah."
