Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby has voiced strong criticism of the Los Angeles Chargers and their fanbase, labeling them as "toxic" during a recent livestream.

Appearing on a Kick stream with internet personality N3on, Crosby discussed competing against NFL division rivals and offered his perspective on the Chargers' supporters. He described encounters with Chargers fans, stating, "Their fanbase came at me like you f—–g junkie, crackhead mother——. Nonstop. But they’re crazy though."

When asked to identify the most toxic fanbase in the NFL, Crosby pointed to the Chargers. He attributed this to what he perceives as a smaller fanbase that compensates with loudness due to not being a traditional Los Angeles team. "I think the Chargers do because they got a smaller fanbase. They started in San Diego, they’re not really an LA team. They’re not from LA. So their fans feel like they need to be louder because they don’t have numbers like us. So they’re real toxic," Crosby explained.

He acknowledged that this intensity from the fans means they are effectively engaging with him. "And I respect it though because if it pissed me off so that means they’re doing a pretty good job talking s–t. And they don’t stop," he added.

The Chargers relocated from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2017, a move that was met with controversy. Despite the relocation, the team's rivalry with the Raiders, an AFC West opponent, remains intense. The two teams are scheduled to face each other in Week 2 on September 20.
