E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg and his wife, Rebbecca Weinberg, have sold a substantial parcel of land along the Intracoastal Waterway in Ocean Ridge, Florida, for $13 million. The sale, which did not appear on the open market, involved adjoining lots at 7 and 9 Sabal Island Drive, offering over 33,000 square feet and approximately 325 feet of waterfrontage.

The property features deep-water dockage, a recently reconstructed seawall, and direct boat access to the ocean via the Boynton Inlet. According to sources, a buyer discovered the listing and completed the transaction within days.

The buyer's identity has not yet been disclosed. The deal was brokered by Nick Malinosky and Michael O’Connor of Douglas Elliman, who represented both the buyers and sellers. Both agents declined to comment.

For Weinberg, 75, real estate has been a consistent venture. The New Jersey native has a history of buying, developing, and selling properties. He also serves on the Planning and Zoning Board in Delray Beach, where he maintains a residence.

Weinberg joined Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band in 1974 and later became the bandleader for Conan O'Brien's late-night television shows from 1993 to 2010. Waterfront property in Palm Beach County commands high prices, with land averaging approximately $2.4 million per acre and waterfront listings typically exceeding $10.8 million. Construction costs for waterfront properties are also significantly higher, estimated to be 15 to 30 percent more than inland builds due to specialized requirements such as pilings and seawall work.

Ocean Ridge has seen intense interest from affluent buyers seeking scarce waterfront parcels. Notable figures who have acquired property in nearby areas include Larry Ellison, David MacNeil, Sean Hannity, Tony Robbins, and Randal J. Kirk. In 2024, Billy Joel sold his waterfront estate in the region for $43 million.
