Max Muncy Embraces Haunted Hotel Ahead of NLCS

Los Angeles Dodgers player Max Muncy stated he is not concerned about the rumored ghosts at Milwaukee's historic Pfister Hotel, where the team is staying for the National League Championship Series against the Brewers.

The Pfister Hotel, which opened in 1893, has a reputation for being haunted, with numerous accounts of ghost sightings reported by guests, including professional athletes.

Previous athletes have taken precautions to avoid potential paranormal encounters. Mookie Betts once opted for an Airbnb in Milwaukee instead of staying at the Pfister, and Teoscar Hernandez reportedly avoided it during the previous year's NLCS at his wife's request.

When asked about the hotel's haunted reputation, Muncy expressed a nonchalant attitude. "No, I let it go," Muncy told reporters. "If there’s a ghost there, come on in. If the TV turns on, I know he’s friendly. Hopefully he’s just not there to disturb me. I welcome them. If there’s a ghost, let’s have a good time with it, come on in. It is what it is."

Muncy's relaxed stance on the matter contrasts with the apprehension shown by some other athletes. The Dodgers have also been using a Muncy-branded prayer candle in their dugout, which some speculate could ward off any unwanted spectral visitors.
