Maura Higgins, recently arrived in the U.S. to compete on "Dancing With The Stars," reconnected with "The Traitors" co-star Lisa Rinna at a cast event in Los Angeles on Friday evening. The pair attended "The Traitors: FYC Presentation" during the TV Academy's 2026 Televerse Festival, held at the JW Marriott hotel.
Higgins, 35, arrived in the U.S. earlier in the week to begin her "Dancing With The Stars" journey. She shared her move to Los Angeles on social media, detailing a farewell gathering with friends that included American-themed gifts, one of which was an AI-generated image of herself holding the show's trophy. Her departure involved ten bags of luggage and a minor mishap with a broken mirror during packing.
Upon arrival, Higgins reportedly headed straight into a fashion shoot. The "Love Island" alum has expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming competition but also voiced a specific concern regarding potential dance partners. She stated a preference not to be paired with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko, citing his past comments about women. Higgins emphasized her loyalty to her friend Brooks Nader, a former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant who previously dated Savchenko.
Savchenko responded to Higgins' comments, stating he was unaware of who she was and would not be concerned by the opinion of someone he has never met. He suggested that her remarks might be an attempt to gain attention before the show's premiere.
Higgins and Rinna, 63, appeared to have bonded during their time on "The Traitors." Both posed for photographs at the event, with Higgins opting for a white peplum top with a feathered hem, white trousers, and stilettos, while Rinna sported a black dress, leather jacket, and heels. They were seen sharing a laugh on the red carpet alongside other cast members, including Rob Cesternino, Monét X Change, Tara Lipinski, Rob Rausch, and Eric Nam.
