Maura Higgins Expands US Brand Presence Amid Dancing With The Stars Injury

Maura Higgins has expanded her brand endorsements in the United States, recently promoting the new OLLY Mochi Bites health supplement line on Instagram. The promotion comes as Higgins, a former Love Island UK contestant, is competing on the US show 'Dancing With The Stars' and has disclosed a worsening neck injury.

Higgins, 35, showcased the OLLY campaign by posing in white lace lingerie and later in a black blazer and miniskirt. The Mochi Bites line introduces a new supplement format for OLLY, designed to make wellness more accessible and enjoyable, with formulas for beauty, multi-vitamins, energy, and sleep. This partnership marks another step in Higgins' growing US brand portfolio, which includes previous collaborations with Victoria's Secret, Wingstop, DoorDash, and Guess.

In parallel with her promotional activities, Higgins is facing challenges on 'Dancing With The Stars.' She has revealed that a neck injury, initially a twinge, has become increasingly painful and is affecting her performance. Footage from rehearsals showed Higgins in distress, receiving treatment from medics after experiencing pain during practice for a Tango routine to Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In the World).' She expressed concern that the injury could jeopardize her live performances.

Despite the pain, Higgins and her professional partner, Mark Ballas, have continued to perform. For their Tango on Super Bowl Night, they received a score of 33 out of 40, earning praise from judges for their elegance. However, judge Derek Hough noted that a specific movement in the routine, a "contra check," put excessive strain on her neck, potentially breaking her spinal line.

Higgins has shared updates on her condition, acknowledging the persistent pain and thanking the show's physiotherapist. She stated that she is managing the injury with stretches and other care methods. In the competition's Super Bowl Night episode, Higgins and Ballas secured second place, behind Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy. The episode also saw the elimination of Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson.
